The Gaspé Library English Book Club will be holding their next meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:30.
The meetings are held upstairs at the Gaspé Library (The “Biblio” between Place Jacques Cartier and the bottom of the Brise Bise steps), where you will have the opportunity to have afternoon tea and chat, mostly about books that you have read and that you would like to recommend to others. The library is closed to the public at that time, although you will still be able to return and take out books and order interlibrary loan books.
There have been a lot of new books added to the local, permanent collection! The next rotation of books from the network will be in late March. The most recent of those have bright lime-green dots so you can find them easily.
In general the library is open Monday 2:00 – 5:00, Wednesday 2:00 – 5:00 and 6:30 – 8:00, Friday 6:30 – 8:00, and Saturday 10:00 – 1:00. All services and activities are free except for the $2 charge for inter-library loans. You may borrow “a handful for a month,” that is, five books for four weeks. The book-return chute by the door is always open. Please put the books in a bag when using the chute, to prevent them from damage as they fall.
If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact Tracy Wolfe at email@example.com or 418-368-3005.
Welcome to all who enjoy reading English books!
