Computer Savvy Seniors

Do you have questions about using social media? Are you worried that you might do something unsafe online? Do you need some help using basic programs on your computer? Or maybe you were given a tablet that you just don’t know how to use?

Computer Savvy Seniors is a program designed to teach basic computer skills to seniors and to help them navigate frequently used programs. The sessions will be run by volunteers and coordinated by Stephanie Bond. A variety of student volunteers will also be on hand to help you navigate the tutorials, giving you any one-on-one attention you may need.

This program consists of five free sessions that will be held at the Gaspé and Barachois Legions, respectively. You will need to bring your own laptop or tablet to participate. More details and starting dates will be coming soon!

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada under the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
