Creating Awareness

Bullying and violence among teens is an area of growing awareness and concern. Over the past couple of years, Vision has worked toward increasing awareness of bullying and what can be done about it. In this section, you will find resources and information to help you deal with bullying and violence in your own home or school, confronting it and supporting those who are victimized by it.

Many young people have had lasting damage done to their self-image, their self-esteem, their ability to socialize with others, their ability to form healthy relationships with others and with themselves. Whether you’re a teenager, a parent, a teacher, a community member, or a bystander, the links provided here will give you information and a strategy for dealing with bullying. Below, you find links to some of the projects that Vision does in your community to end bullying and promote self-esteem in our schools.
